Miss Representation Screening at Velour

Downtown Provo offers many wonderful entertainment options, but film is unfortunately not often among them. Monday, however, that will temporarily change when Velour screens Miss Representation. The film was part of the 2011 Sundance Film Festival, is directed by Jennifer Siebel Newsom, and addresses the relationship between women and the media.

As a long-time film lover, I’m particularly excited for the opportunity to see acclaimed cinema. As a long-time Provo lover, I’m equally excited to take advantage of a unique opportunity downtown. As the link above indicates, tickets can be purchased online, or from Kaneisha Johnson at Velour. The link even has a phone number if you’re old school.

I picked up my ticket directly from Kaneisha Thurday night. I hope to see you there.
