Joanna Brooks Coming to Muse Music

The Porch is a storytelling program that occurs regularly at Muse Music, in downtown. The next event will feature increasingly famous Mormon writer and thinker Joanna Brooks. If you’re Mormon or live in Utah, you’ve surely seen or read Brooks’ work, but this is the description of her background from The Porch website:

“Joanna Brooks is a senior correspondent for Religion Dispatches and frequently writes at Feminist Mormon Housewives. She was named one of “50 Politicos to Watch” by Politico.com. Her new memoir The Book of Mormon Girl is available now.”

Tickets are $10. Click here to read more information on this event and buy tickets.

It’s also worth mentioning that according to this Facebook event, there were only 15 tickets still available on Tuesday. Late Thursday morning I tried to buy 10 tickets, just to see if I could, and I got far enough into the purchasing process for me to believe that there are still some available seats. But either way, tickets are going quickly and this will be sold out long before the actual event.

Muse Music will host Mormon writer and commenter Joanna Brooks on March 30
