Participate in the Convention Center Opening

The Utah Valley Convention Center is opening May 12. I will certainly blog about this event again as it gets closer, but according to the link above, the organizers are looking for venders, artists, and performers to participate.

Performers sadly won’t be paid (and indeed visual artists are bafflingly being asked to pay $50 to display their work), but I hope that some of the area’s more artistically relevant musicians will sign on so the entertainment won’t be lame — and so local music can reach new audiences. More information on how to participate can be found via the link above.

The Utah Valley Convention Center opens Saturday, May 12.
