The Rooftop Concert Series — the certified best music festival in Utah — begins this Friday night at 8 p.m. The show will feature Peter Breinholt and Ryan Innes, as well as Faith Johnson. Get more information, including a guide from organizer and blogger C. Jane, here.
This year the concert series will also include a few changes, the most exciting of which may be food vendors. Specifically, Station 22 and Mountain West Burrito (MWB) will be selling food onsite. That’s exciting because MWB is one of the best burrito shops in Utah, but it’s also in one of the worst possible locations. Now, we’ll all finally be able to get MWB without driving all the way up to their shop. And of course, Station 22 is one of Provo’s undisputed culinary gems.
The Music Lounge also recently taped an interview with all of the organizers. The interview explores the orgins of the series and may be viewed here. And as I’ve argued before, the Rooftop Concert Series is a fantastic event no matter who happens to be playing during any particular concert.
*For some reason, I wrote in the title of this post that the concert wasn’t Friday. I don’t know why I did that, or how I didn’t notice it all day. Thankfully a reader pointed it out and it’s been corrected. Sorry for the confusion.
