Harman House Opens in Downtown

Provo’s newest mixed-use apartment building opened today in downtown. According to my colleague Genelle Pugmire, The Harman House is now accepting renters:

Built in 1927, the Harman House features 24 newly designed studio apartments on three floors of downtown living and 3,122 square feet of office space. The fully furnished apartments offer 6-, 9- and 12-month leases ranging from $550 to $635 a month. Ground floor apartments are ADA accessible. The premium suites on the second and third floor include a bedroom area, dishwasher, disposal, leather couches, mounted flat screen televisions, balconies and more.

I mentioned several days ago that the people behind the Harman House have done a great job with the renovations, even adding a beautiful new stained glass window.

In addition, it’s good to see higher density development in downtown, which should put more people on the streets and more potential customers in local businesses. It’s also good to see support for this kind of development from great leaders like Gary McGinn and Mayor John Curtis.

As noted in the article written by my colleague Genelle Pugmire (link above), the Harman House is nearly full already. The number for more information is (801) 370-9792.

The Harman House officially opened Wednesday.
