Biking creates all sorts of benefits in a city. They bolster the community and change the way we see cities, make us more prosperous, attract youth, and save money, among other things. And course, biking more and driving less also leads to clearer air.
This weekend, The Provo Bike Committee and Clear the Air will be holding an event to celebrate that fact. The event is geared toward families and will include a group ride, free tune ups, and a chance to win an Xtracycle, and more. It should be a great chance to get out, see the beautiful scenery in Provo, meet other cyclists and learn about biking. It starts at 11 am at the mouth of Provo Canyon and will end up at Lions Park, located at 950 W. 1280 N.
