Blog posts come and go quickly, but sometimes there are resources that come in handy again and again. Here are a few of those resources that I find helpful. I’ll add to this list over time, but if you have a suggestion let me know.

Mayor John Curtis’ Blog: Mayor Curtis writes an excellent blog. Topics range from interesting things going on to useful notifications about upcoming events and meetings.

Provo City website

The Atlantic Cities: A must read magazine for anyone interested in urban affairs, city design and economics, and innovation.

Bike Provo: A website devoted to making Provo more bikable.

Walk Score: Find out how walkable your own neighborhood is, and read why that matters.

Planetizen: Among other things, this website aggregates important news and commentary related to cities, planning, and urbanism.

National Association of City Transportation Officials Urban Street Design Guide: This is a great guide on how to design safe, conducive streets of all shapes and sizes.

Original Green: Steve Mouzon’s website about building better structures.

Fordham University’s Research Links: A long and very useful list of links from Fordham University’s urban studies program. These links run the gamut from magazines to scholarly publications to organizations.
